Topic: Turning off my new Revelation preamp |

When the gig is over and gonna shut it down for the nite, I put the Rev in standby for a little bit and then flip the Off switch to off. Is this the right way? Just wanna be sure I am doing it right. Thanks, Jack

No need at all to re-enter stand-by mode to power down. Best method is always to turn the power amp off first.
Then just flip BOTH Rev switches down/off at the same time.
The general rule with preamps and power amps is with regards to the power amp so we never send a "thump" or a "pop" to the speaker.
With POWER amps:
ON LAST - OFF FIRST

With Peavey, that's a feature. Ever since the Session 400, they do that.
I always thought it was a system check, letting you know that everything worked

No kidding. I like it when I am mic'd and I turn on my NV400. I like to watch all the people jump out of their seats.
