RIP BIll,

Dave Van Allen, I was too there at the Jam in Bethlehem, PA right next to the sleeping steel factories.

I was just there as an observer, but remember him and Becky as being very nice and also great hosts.

I still have the small color picture of Bill playing in a country band in Germany that Becky handed out to everyone. Glad I have that.
Regards, Craig

I cried because I had no shoes, then I met a man who had no feet.

Sad news. A great man has left us. Bill and I used to play guitar to each other on the phone. My favorite story is Bill was in charge of entertainment during the Korean war. He told me they had an artist coming over named Hank Williams. Bill thought he was a black entertainer and assembled an all black group to back him up. Hank loved playing with those guys. RIP Bill.

I will always remember Bill and the information he passed on to me about Pu,s music and many other things. Some may not know but Bill rewired Jimmy Hendricks guitar at one time. Some who knew him better might know the more complete story but I remember him telling me about it.

Becky, I'm so sorry to here about Bill's passing. I just want to "say" thank you for having Bill build my LXR 16 pick-up for my Mullen.

Bill even wrote his name on the back of my new LXR 16 pick-up after I notice it when I got ready to install the pick-up in my Mullen.

Becky, I will always keep this pick-up Bill made for me because its very special to my heart. RIP Bill.

My condolences Becky.

Bill Lawrence Photo

Just found the photo of Bill playing guitar on the far left of this photo.

Becky gave us all a copy at the Bethlehem Jam many years ago at his shop.

I think the band he played in was back in Germany, but I may be mistaken. RIP Bill!
