On the back of my Fender Stage 100 the extension speaker states a min of a 8 Ohms 100 watt speaker the internal speaker is 8 Ohms but I do not use the extension speaker jack, so will it be ok to replace the 8 Ohm with a 4 ohm 200 watt speaker?

Thanks Jimmy.

Yes, you're good to go. It'll heat up and quit if you go lower.

I agree, you'll be fine with a 4-ohm speaker as long as you don't try to add anything else. An added bonus is that you'll get a significant increase in output power! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Stephen and Donny have it. In addition, if you do replace the existing speaker with the 4 ohm one, I would suggest disconnecting the Extension Speaker Jack at the same time just to be on the safe side.

Enjoy!
