We got Jody! I first met Jody at one of Billy Phelps' Katy TX gatherings... he'd expressed an interest in playing for us, and now the time has come! Mr. Cameron is a well-known national artist and was voted TSGA Player Of The Year in 2008... he now holds down the steel position in Bobby Flores' Yellow Rose band.

You will kick yourself if you miss this one, folks.
Our venue is as normal:
290 West Club

... and our time is also: jam at 2pm, Jody at 3pm, jam after Jody. The club has drinks and good burgers available, so don't worry about lunch. We maintain a Sell table for folks to trade at, so bring musical stuff to haggle over... hopefully Jody will bring some of his merch and instructional stuff as well.
Our normal drummer John Chandler has a steady gig for quite a while, so we're calling in Ron Erwin as sub, a top player. Jerry Motley will be on guitar and Charlie Irwin will be on bass, as usual. Our backup musicians are pros, so we'll be shaking the tip jar to get them some gas and burger money.
EDIT: Jerry has to be out of town, so we've got a sub... Lonnie Atkinson! Oops... conflict, see below...
MORE EDIT: Lonnie's later Sunday gig was moved up... so he won't be able to attend. Bummer! But we got another one... Pete Mitchell! Pete has worked with some of the best in the business, including a stint with Ernest Tubb and more than 10 years with the Grand Ole Opry. Thanks for subbing in, Pete! And thanks for getting Pete involved, Herb... hope to see you there Sunday if you can. Here's a little article about Pete:

Hey Roger, say hi to the white buffalo over the bar at the Gage. Watch out for elk on the road if you go over to Alpine! That's my part of the country out there... see you next time.
