i have one. note that yesterday, musician's friend had them again for $40. you will need an ipad or iphone to be able to install the istomp app and then download the individual effects to the pedal itself. it will only hold one effect at a time but only takes about 30seconds to download into the pedal. there are 47 effects total and all of them are useable and tweakable. as usual, that last statement is subjective.

presently, i'm using the compressor effect as i have the strymon timeline delay, mobius modulator and big sky reverb. it works very well in all aspects.

I bought one last time they were on sale. Two issues with it:

1) the proprietary cable used to connect to your iOS device is the older style 30-pin connector rather than the newer lightning connector.
2) it requires a power adapter (there's no room for a battery).

tony: they do have them on sale quite often. i get the musician's friend stupid deal of the day emailed to me . i rarely buy anything through the stupid deal but you never know what will turn up.
