Here's demo of Mad Professor's new Simble overdrive pedal.
It's a Dumble-like pedal so I played my Asher Ben Harper on this Lindley with Browne -type "song".
An excellent natural and dynamic pedal.
Check it out!

A friend of mine who is a very good electric guitar player let me borrow for a couple weeks several months ago his Hermida Audio Zen-Drive pedal which is supposed to approximate the Dumble sound. He has one of the original versions hand-built by Hermida himself.

Different equipment and conditions of course than Olli's setup, but from this demo I think I like the sound of the Simble better.

Thanks for all the nice comments!!
Brad, I had the phaser before the Simble. Going into an almost hifi clean amp like the Deluxe w. JBL, I think of the Simble as an extra stage of the amp. And that`s where they put the phaser in the 70`s, before the amp...
That said, in my gig set up the Tiny Orange phaser is in the effects loop of my custom made tube amp, along with the delays and reverbs. It works great there too.
I should do a demo of the phaser alone, btw. It`s an amazingly versatile pedal.
The mix knob is ingenious: at noon it is flat, to the left it increases the level in a subtler way and to the right it`s more pronounced. A bit like a Phase 90 vs Small Stone. Cool pedal!!
BTW, the company doesn`t pay me to write this, they just make `em good Very Happy

Tasty playing, Olli!

Would love to hear a comparison between the Simble and Brad Sarno's Earth Drive. Anyone up for posting that?

The delay and reverb are plug ins in Pro Tools, H-Delay and Renaissance reverb, both by Waves.
I have a Zen Drive but I haven`t compared the pedals side by side.
I think the Simble probably sounds a little more open and transparent and maybe more amp-like. But I haven`t used the Zen Drive in awhile......
Thanks again for the nice comments, my friends !
