I've gotta say that I learned more about guitar in a two week master class in the 1970's than what I had struggled with in the previous 15 years. I still get out the notebook with my scribblings in it and learn to this day! Sometimes it's a right hand thing, sometimes where you play on the fretboard matters, sometimes it's the way a piece is fingered. Playing an instrument well is always about problem solving. I agree that asking gets you there faster, especially if the person you ask has already solved that problem.
Williams 700 E9th/B6. 1978 Webb 6-14. Taylor Acoustic, 1973 Ramirez Segovia 1a, Brian Moore iGuitar with synth driver and, my standby for acoustic gigs, a little Roland Acoustic amp.
