Sold Rittenberry ***LOWER PRICE*** D-10, 8X5

Post by Glen Porter »

Rittenberry purchased at 2012 Dallas Show 705's sound very good on this Guitar. Played very little and has never been out of my home studio. Ritt is one of the finest Guitars made. Plays and sounds Sooooo Good. Case is like new and there Isn"t a noticeable scratch or ding on this Guitar. Asking 4,000. Imagine sounding much better than you now do on your Guitar (unless it's a
Ritt). This Guitar is in Pristine condition, There are NO issues. Offering a 30 day purchase price refund If you are not happy. Don't pass up this perfect Guitar!
Glen..... The last Ptc showing Steve Palousick Playing this Guitar in Dallas.

I am going to pass on this... This person is totally rude and unresponsive to everyone making an inquiry to this guitar. I believe that if he is working on a private sale or someone who responded by private message that he should have the courtesy to advise the other interested parties on what is going on.

Mark, I apologize if I missed you somehow, I did respond but got no reply, and at least one of your emails had no text. I would like to say I have no other buyers before you. I did put at least one buyer behind you. Thanks
Glen Porter...... Mark the guitar is on hold for you if you want it, please let me know.

Rittenberry's

Post by Bill Dobkins »

I have been studying these photo's of this Rittenberry. Something just doesn't look right so I enlarged the photo's and realize it has two fretboards on each neck. The C6th is even unglued at one point. Maybe the owner could explain this. I would bet my life that it never left Gary's shop like this. Gary is to much of a perfectionist.
It certainly isn't worth the asking price in this condition.

And one of the strings is off the roller at the nut...the owner should discount it by at least $1000 for that alone. Seriously fellas, there's a private message button at the bottom of each post, why sabotage his for sale ad? Glen's a good guy, I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him.

Rick it wasn't my intention to step on any toes.
This steel should be fixed before it's sold or discounted so it can be fixed. I know if I bought it and got it home and seen this I would be very up set.
As I said I know it never left Gary's shop like this.

Pristine Ritt for sale

Post by Glen Porter »

I would like to reply to the Gentleman that posted the negative comments about the Ritt .( for the Record ) I will refund 1000.00 to any buyer of this pristine Guitar if they were to find ANYTHING defective broken irregular or damaged after purchasing this Beautiful Instrument or I would even be willing to cover the freight to send it to Gary Rittenberry for his inspection. Some folks aren't stubborn as a Mule but maybe dumb as a Mule. Thanks
Glen Porter..... To anyone interested this Ritt is still for sale

To be honest, pictures 2 and 3 do seem to indicate this, maybe the seller will enlighten us on why they appear this way. Beautiful steel, and I am sure there is a logical explanation. :?

Dumb is not sending to Gary in the first place.
Even dumber to put another fret board on it.
This is a nice Steel and I haven't said anything out the way. I only want who ever buys it to know this Steel did not leave Gary's shop like this.

I rarely even read posts not pertaining to Mullen, but I must say, to even have someone offer a 30 day money back guarantee, is way more than generous. Guitar looks fine to me. There are several nice pictures and I think you can see what your getting, and if you don't like it, then you get your money back. WOW. This is why so many people left this forum. Just saying. Get along and good luck on your sale Sir.

WOW!!! It's hard to believe that some of these comments were posted on the Forum. The Rittenbery is one of the finest guitars on the market today and Gary, no doubt, is one of the best builders but he is also a human being and humans do make mistakes. I know this guitar personally from day one and everything about the guitar was perfect except for one very minor flaw in the fretboards. New fretbords were provided and are currently installed on the guitar. The C string is back on the nut roller, The guitar has been tuned, polished, and ready to play. This guitar would have never been shipped to anyone if it wasn't in A + condition.

As for the gentleman that wants to "Bet his life", please don,t do that. You have a lot to lose. You have made loose comments without knowing all the facts.

To the guy that wants to offer $3100 for a "TOP OF THE LINE GUITAR" LOTS OF LUCK. Take another look at the pictures.
