I don't know this particular guitar but I could guess. My SD-12 weighs 54 lbs. out of the case. Pretty heavy, for sure. Damir's S-10 will be lighter. It doesn't have the folding legs; it's a single body not double like mine, and it has 10 strings and 3 pedals. Each factor will make it lighter--I'd guess in the range of 45 to 50 lbs.
Yes, John Miller, the console is aluminum and the neck is probably wood, I'm not sure. The aluminum is pretty thick, thicker than a GFI, another steel console guitar. It's mica covered. These guitars are well-built and have great tone. The engineering is first-rate; something you can tell at a glance looking underneath. I can't vouch for Damir's S-10, but my SD-12 sounds and plays great. Very smooth pedal action and quiet. Tone is very subjective, but I don't recall anyone on this forum saying they sound any thing less than wonderful. They compare nicely to any of the newer guitars currently being made. If you're not put off by the unique look, it's a great guitar for a great price.
