Has anybody ever tried the Dunlop dvp series volume pedal with the band drive opening the pot instead of a string???

I have one and it works fine, but two problems for steel. The connectors are on the front of the pedal, which is a PITA. Have to use right angle plugs and they still want to interact with the pedal bar. The way the body and pivot are set up is definitely the opposite of "low profile". For me, with relatively long shin bones, my right knee came up much too high when using that pedal. The pedal itself is really well made and feels great. Just not ideal for steel.

As usual, of course, YMMV.
