Anyone familiar with the former artist Joe Pain

Post by Gary Hoetker »

The name was given to him by Paycheck in the 60's. There are five of Pain's records posted on you tube and they are sensational. What a voice. He is retired from music and now lives in Kenosha,Wisconsin

I remember Joe from back in the 60's on the W.W.V.A. Jamboree in Wheeling,W.V. In fact,I may have backed him up. He was on "Little Darlin' " records. You're right,he was a good country singer. If you talk w/ him again, tell him I said "hi". (if he remembers me.)

I played bass for Joe for about a year and a half in the early '80's. Great singer, really great guy. We had a lot of fun along with playing some really great Country Music.

Justin Trevino has played some of his songs on his radio show. You can listen to it by going to Justin's website on Wed from 6-8pm CST and Sunday 2-4 pm. Its a great show.
