My latest Old Standard dates back to 1964 and made famous by a British group, Gary & The Pacemakers: "Don't Let The Sun Catch You Crying".
A fellow Forumite, Jory Simmons, has an excellent version of the song on YouTube.

My latest Old Standard was written in 1882 by Fernandez: "Cielito Lindo" or translated: "Beautiful Heaven".
This song is a favorite with mariachi bands but has been recorded by many other artists both in Spanish and English.

My latest Old Standard is a song written by Manuel M. Ponce way back in 1914: "Estrellita (Little Star)".
I got interested in tabbing this song when I pulled up a video on YouTube with Jerry Byrd playing it on a Rickenbacker non-pedal guitar, just beautiful!
You really need to hear it. :D

I just finished up a couple of Old Standard songs that were on Ray Price's final CD.
He has always recorded quite a variety of different songs over the span of his career.
The songs are: "An Affair To Remember" and "Beautiful Dreamer".

Tab Music

Post by Zack Graham »

I am enjoying the tab that I bought from you a while back and I would like to have: Just A Closer Walk, How Great Thou Art, In The Garden, It Is No Secret. Do you have a current list of your gospel songs? I can't remember if you take Paypal.

Thanks,

Zack Graham

My latest Old Standard is really old.
The composer is Johnn Pachelbel and he lived from 1653 'till 1706.
The song is "Canon In D" and is played at a lot of weddings.
I had a request for this song. It's not the complete song, I eliminate the part with the 16th notes. If you want to hear Buddy Emmons rendition of this song you can pull it up on YouTube.

I've looked for this song for quite a while and finally located it. It is Santo & Johnny's follow up song to "Sleepwalk"; "Tear Drop. It was quite successful but not a popular as "Sleepwalk".
It was written by the three Farina's; Ann, John & Santo. It goes back to 1959.

I had a request for this Old Standard.
It was written in 1968 by Burt Bacharach and was a hit for Herb Alpert: "This Guy's In Love With You".
