popping noise ses 500

Sessions 500 just started popping after red light on front comes on. This light is usually off and just to the left of red light that's always on when unit is on. Anyone ever had this problem. tommytstrat@yahoo.com

I don't know about a "Sessions" 500, but with the peak limiter detection light coming on a "Session" 500 can be caused by power supply among others. I had that on a Session 500 that I had - bad filter caps in the power supply. Considering the age of a Session 500, if the power supply filter caps have never been changed that is a very possible source of the problem.

It needs a trip to Peavey for repair.
