This may not be the right section for this but after much consideration I chose to post my inquiry in this category.

I see an instructional set for sale on eBay by at gent named Kevin Ryan.

Anybody have any experience with this product ??

The title is 101 Hot and Sassy steel licks.

If you have experience with this product but don't want to post here I'd appreciate a PM or eMail.

Thanks

LOL

P.s. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place.

I have this CD bought it from Jims in Oceanside Calif. Its a great CD with enough learning material to keep a fellow busy for quite a while. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to improve there chops. Kevin calls the CD "Advanced Knuckle busters" Enough said.

Kevin is a first rate steeler and teacher- he produced the two JayDee Maness videos and his Hot and Sassy series (of which there are two) is terrific!

This is a really excellent course, as others have stated. All of the licks are short, thus making it fairly to get them into your head and not have to read the tab while practicing the licks. A real plus for older guys with memory not being what it once was.

My only question is, "Why did Kevin limit this to only 101 hot and sassy steel licks"?
I'm sure I've heard him play more than that.

Actually there are 2 volumes, 202 licks. Enough to keep busy with for some time.

Kevin is well respected member here.
Recommended.

A Forum search will probably find samples he's posted.
(I think I recall seeing them a while back)

I got one reply from Kevin that was incomplete can anyone tell me if they bought the DOWNLOAD version of this VS a CD? If you did I am wondering if it is an offline video rather than a web-based. Internet connection is too unreliable here. Thanks

I got both volumes at once as a download

Excellent and useful stuff, although requiring a bit of translation from me, going from E9 to Bb6 Universal

Well worth the very low price

Thanks everyone! I often go back to those courses and dig up a couple of gems for fun... I'm really glad at the comments I have heard through the years. Mostly that it is a good value for the players ... Thanks again.
