I have a Peterson strobo plus HD and I think it's out of wack. When I turn it on to Newman's OE9 tuning, it shows + 0.1 cents shows sweetend OE9, oct1 (which I assume stands for octave) and the note is Bb with the b blinking. What is suppose to be on the screen when using the OE9 tuning, or any steel guitar tuning for that matter? I'm thinkin it may need to be re-calibrated, and don't know how to do that. I have a little manual, but it don't go into detail on much of anything, or maybe I ain't smart enough to figure it out. Help please.

Thanks Carl. I had a Strobo-flip and never had any problems with getting to my steel tunings, and it never got out of wack. All I want to do, is be able to get around to the preset tunings, and can't even seem to do that. May have to go back to my simple tuner. Smile

Bb1 sounds like 60Hz hum to me.

Contact Sue Haslam at Peterson support. They provide outstanding support and can either get it straightened out or will provide warranty repair.

Terry...Thinking that you may have accidently reconfigured the preset. Before shipping it to you, I checked the 'OE9' setting against the setting on my StroboPlus and the offsets were identical. Sorry to read that the unit is not working out for you.

There is a link on the Peterson website that gives instruction on how to reset the HD.One of our UK players had similar problem and following this clip reset it no problem.

Thanks guys for the help.

David, the tuner has been working great since you told me how to get from one preset to another. I think maybe I accidently pressed something I shouldn't have. I got Rudy to look at it today at our Central AR steel guitar meeting, and he got it back to factory setting. Thanks
