I have a Kline I love but the 3rd string washes out. I know to roll the nut around but that doesn't help. Any other suggestions. It's has followed 3 string changes.
Thanks

What do you mean by "washes out"?
For most problems, I'd inspect the arc of the finger, or try moving the string fore or aft (or side-to-side, depending on your viewpoint), to put the string in another track on the finger.

Lane it's like it changes to the next harmonic from the fundamental pitch. It sounds like it's vibrating some other place and causes it to change. Klines only have one place to attach the pull rod to the changer finger.
It is a keyless of course and can see no other way to put downbearing on the string. I will try moving the string around on the breakover point of the changer.
