Here are some photos of the Emmons guitars that I have in my collection now. I just recently bought the Barber Mandrell guitar, the other one I acquired from Lynn Stafford about two years ago now.

My rig: Infinity and Telonics.

Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?

Frank Rains can't post photos from his computer so he wanted me to post these photos of his 2 Emmons PPs.
We did a complete restore on both of them. Frank is a firm believer that "black" sounds better.

Hey Dan - That looks like my old guitar! I bought a white S-12 teakwood new in 1977. Let me know if you'd ever consider selling :D
Thanks!

This is my Emmons LeGrande SKH

Post by Billy Sims »

I purchased the guitar from the original owner. It has the original case also and it looks nearly new. I would like to know the year it was made if anyone can help me with that. It has great tone and plays very smoothly.

She has been rode hard and put away wet more than a few times but still plays and sounds amazing. She's on her way to Mike Cass for a face lift and a overhaul.

1974 brown badge, wide pedal fatback. #1925. As delivered from the factory, totally original and unmolested. Barely played. Long KL's in anodized Black..never seen that before, but that is how the guitar came from the factory.

Will post for sale soon.
