Hey Paul, well maybe one of these meetings you can come up and set in with us, (and teach us some of those nice licks) you did in Tulsa. Was good to meet you and I really enjoyed your set in the show. You had a really good sound and awesome music. Looking forward to seeing you again sometime. I think Tony is going to teach us something??? He is getting good on his steel also. Ron |

Ron, I agree Tony is improving and what a friend he has been in the last year. I enjoyed being in Oklahoma even though I do not play my best at a venue like that. I would love to come up to a meeting and jam with you guys. I want all of you to know if Tony Tipton puts an OU hat on my head I give all of you permission to remove it or I will report him to Roy Rosetta. Most of you will know from the show in Arkansas recently what I am speaking of. You guys have a great time. |

We had a great time at the meeting today. Around 11 or 12 steelers there but only 8 of us set up and played. One played bass most of the day but did set in and play a song or two. Jim Gattis came in and visited with us for the day, and was good to have him. He has played around the area a long time and hopefully he will set up with us next Mo. That will be July the 6th so will be on the 4th weekend but we'll be there anyhow. Thanks to all that showed up . Tony was in charge this Mo and did a vary good job. Thanks Tony !!! See y'all next Mo.. Remember Jerry and Carol as they travel up north to Mn. to see some of their "YANKEE" friends and some relation too.. (be safe) |
