He's interesting to watch. If you can find videos of him playing, watch his feet. He tunes the pedals "backwards". like this:

F#
D#
A
E
C#
A
F#
E
D
C#

And lowers on the A & B pedals the opposite of most others. I believe Ernie Hagar did this also, but I am not positive.

So the A pedal lowers the C#s to B, and The B pedal lowers the As to G#s?
