George Strait, Reba McEntire

I had the pleasure of seeing and hearing George and Reba last night at the Bayou Superfest at LSU. Both bands were as good as it gets and both performers were superb. The sound system awesome and artists were on time as you would expect from a Quint Davis produced show (New Orleans Jazz Fest). I was lucky enough to be in a suite and beat the heat but a long way from the stage. As a steel player I wish they were both up in the mix a little more. Both were playing Zum's. Mike Daly was introduced but I didn't hear the Reba introduction. Is Bruce Bouton still touring with her? I didn't recognize him from what I could see. However a great show all around.

If Reba's steel player is playing a Zum, yes, that's Bruce.
