Just curious as to who the steel player and dobro player for the Joey & Rory show on RFD is?
I've noticed he uses his round nose steel bar for playing dobro also. Seems to me that round nose would be kinda hard to use on dobro, but he sounds great using it.

Didn't know that David. I watch the Presleys every Sat night, and hadn't noticed Kevin using his round nose bar, but he's another very good steel and dobro player.
Don't see how they can play an open note and have that round nose on the string below without the open string buzzing or being deadnend. At any rate they are both very good.

Lloyd Green uses a steel bar on dobro too. Kevin's bar has a wood grip cut like a dobro bar. A friend of mine met Kevin and he showed him the bar.
