Not to turn this into a religious post (I am not really too religious), but this version of "I Believe" makes me not just cry, but also makes me choke up a bit. The vocals on this are too good. And some nice Mike Johnson thrown in.

There are two tear-jerkers for me that immediately come to mind. The first is the video of Hank Williams Jr. and his father singing "There's a Tear in My Beer." The trick photography is amazing, in putting Jr. into the scene with his father. The joy on Jr's. face when he sees his father and is able to walk through the screen reminds us all of how we would like to be able to walk through the screen and interact with our own deceased fathers again.

The second is "You and Me and Time" by George and Georgette Jones. It's very touching, and it's a great performance of a great composition by Georgette.

I just played them both again and they never fail to bring tears to my eyes.

Right on Jim. My first ex-wife sings that song, and when I get the chance to play for her, when we do this song, we both have tears running down our faces. Others in the band or crowd just don't understand the power of that song.

2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects
