Taking my teenage son and daughter and friend to see Dierks at the Arts Center in Holmdel on Sunday.
Does anyone know who's on steel with him, and hopefully he has a steel player? Also I'm hoping that one of the openers has one too.
Would appreciate any response, Brett?
I'm very happy taking them to this show as opposed to the other less desirable options out there _________________ Regards, Craig

Thanks, Ed, looking forward to the show even more, sounds like he has a great resume, there are so many players I don't know of and they're all great players! _________________ Regards, Craig

Brett,
Tim was great had some real nice solos, also played nice lap ,dobro and Banjo
Dierks was very entertaining, it's good to see a sold out house of somewhere around 10,000 young people watching something other than rap
A nice treat was seeing Terry Crisp playing for Chris Young, what a great player, last time I saw him was at the PSGA show in Norwalk.
Funny side note was that Dierks brought up Will Ferrell Up on stage during the encore.
Over all it was a really entertaining show and it's really encouraging to see so many young kids into country music, not the kind I grew up on,but lots of steel guitar up front and not just in the background. _________________ Regards, Craig

Hey Craig,
Glad you got to come to the show and bring your kids. What a fun night that was. Final total was just over 15,000 people.
It's great for 3 out of the 4 bands to carry steel guitar. I haven't seen Terry in a long time and we've been having a good time hanging out before and after the shows. Kyle is a great guy to hang out with too.
Hope to see you out on the road again at another show.

Tim Great to hear from you, there is a good review of the Holmdel show in todays Star Ledger newspaper, you can probably find it on www.nj.com. My daughter's only complaint was that Dierks didn't do enough off the new Riser Cd, she really loves that album, but it was her first 'Big Show' and had a great time, as well as my wife and I.
I have been to many great shows at the Arts Center, as us old folks refer to it since the mid 70's and I rank way up there. _________________ Regards, Craig
