Just had my Emmons p/p S-12 gone over by Lynn Stafford for a tune-up and copedant change. WOW! What a difference! Slop and rattles have been reduced to an imperceptible amount...this thing plays like butter dripping off a hot biscuit. Wish I'd done this years ago! And the attention to detail - for instance, Lynn put a little white paint in the number labels on the pedal rods so they would be more visible in low stage light...

Thanks Lynn!

Plus one for Lynn's work. Great set up, really precise in every way. He's great to work with as well. You guys on the west coast are lucky. If you're considering some work, I'd say let him do it.

Lynn worked on a guitar for me. I really appreciate the quality of his work, but his willingness to explain everything to a new player like me was really over the top.

Thanks Lynn! I love my "new" guitar!

Guy's a bum, I'd never buy a guitar from him.

OK, so I already bought two. I might not buy a third.

But I probably would.

Lynn's work is as good as it gets. If he totally rebuilds a guitar it looks better than new. I say that because some customers only want a set up change and a lube job and adjustment, you can be assured that it will be done right.

Ken I know you are just joking. (You do not need another steel). Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Another bandwagon I'll be happy to jump on... Lynn's work is spectacular, precise, and beautiful. We're very lucky to have craftsmen like him to keep us on the road!

I've never had Lynn work on my steels, but when upgrading my equipment last year he was extremely helpful to me during a phone call, answering all my questions.

Just an addendum, I was so impressed with Lynn's work on my Emmons that I also had him set up my Dekley steel - let me tell you, he took it from zero to hero. What I thought was just a "clunky" feeling guitar is now as smooth as can be. And, just by chatting with Lynn about the work he did, I have gleaned some very useful info about how to keep my instruments playing great. Bonus!

I just wanted to thank Bryan for posting his kind remarks about the work I did on his guitars.

I also want to thank all my friends that were kind enough to post something nice. Besides my long-term friends, like Larry Behm and Jack Strayhorn, it's truly amazing to me just to realize just how many customers that have become friends over the last few years, through helping them with their needs (rebuild/restoration projects or set-up work). It's all been a very rewarding experience for me, as I really enjoy being of help to folks within our wonderful steel community.

I recently got a MSA D10 from Lynn and it is everything and more than what I expected. It plays better than anything that I ever had. The only thing I am having problem is the L knees are more to the right than my Carter but I am getting better with practice. Thanks Lynn for a great steel and service. Bob
