MF had the smaller DP006 on sale last week I think it was $69...with a rebate..

Tascam must be getting ready to introduce new models.

just as a follow up, the recorder arrived a day or so ago, it is really very nice. small, compact easy to use. I played with it for about 20 min and recorded 6 tracks of a tune I am working on...very impressive, very easy to use. One can only imagine what would have happened if we had one of these in the early 60's! I packed it up and it will go to my daughter...Tascam did not disappoint...it records and transfers files in wav 16 bit format, thats a good thing.

An 8 track studio in the 60's would have cost a small fortune and taken up an entire room, today, 5"x7" @ $99 !
