Just got a factory second Ash SX-2 lap steel from Rondo Music. It is a leftie and had a scratched leg so I got it for $79. I knew to reverse the strings I might have to replace the nut or at least refile it...to my surprise it actually has a nut filed for right handed strings! Nice looking guitar...typical shoddy job of mounting the bridge though...slightly cocked. _________________ GFI SM10 3/4, 1937 Gibson EH-150, 2 - Rondo SX Lap Steels and a Guyatone 6 String C6. Restrung this thing with C6 strings...really great sounding guitar with sustain forever. Best $79 I've spent in a while. _________________ GFI SM10 3/4, 1937 Gibson EH-150, 2 - Rondo SX Lap Steels and a Guyatone 6 String C6. Peavey 400 and a Roland 40 Amps. Behringer Reverb Pedal. |

I'll try and get something up soon Roger, but I know it will not be before first of next week...busy weekend ahead. Rondo has a demo on their website:

The ash models are hard to come by, with the only one available now being a leftie. I have the regular SX-1 as well..it sounds good but I think the Ash may have a bit better sustain and the P90 pickup is very nice. _________________ GFI SM10 3/4, 1937 Gibson EH-150, 2 - Rondo SX Lap Steels and a Guyatone 6 String C6.
