FS: Oahu Tonemaster Lap Steel - SOLD PLEASE DELETE

Post by Dave Begalka »

1948 Oahu Tonemaster Lap Steel.
Very good condition considering its age - few scrapes and dings but nothing major - minor (but very hardened) residue on back of headstock from some ancient sticker or label. Honduras mahogany body - rosewood fingerboard. Sounds fantastic for blues and Hawaiian music. Currently setup for open "G" tuning but will include additional almost new C6 set of strings (to really go to the islands). Case also in very good shape and still has original key! All original except the nut which has been replaced at some point.
Genuinely a fine guitar but I need to thin out the collection. Let me know if you have any questions about it.
Priced at $400 + shipping CONUS, not really interested in trades with the possible exception of recording gear or synths.
Thanks for looking!

Dave, what is scale length, please?
To write with a broken pencil is pointless.
