Beard E - new price

Post by Corey Chapman »

Re-listing as the previous deal fell through (funding issue - no issue with the guitar).

Maple Beard E reso for sale. File this under "I really hate to sell this, but I have too many guitars" category. Beautiful figuring in the maple. The pics truly do not do it justice. Has that great big sound of the large, open E body. Includes installed Fishman bridge pickup. When paired with the JD Aura box (not included), it allows you to plug in but get a mic'd sound.

Guitar and case are in great condition. The guitar has a couple of very small marks in the lacquer on the top as shown in one of the pictures below.

2950.00 plus actual shipping costs.

Cone

Post by Corey Chapman »

I should add that Tim Scheerhorn setup this guitar with a Scheerhorn cone, as mentioned in the previous thread:

Are there screens, in the two holes, or is that rims?

Those are rings without screens. I have a set of Beard screens in the case that I can provide if those are preferred.

Beard

Post by Dennis Ellerbee »

Someone should jump on this deal. I owned this resonator before Corey, and it has one of the best tones you will hear mic'd or plugged in. Great sounding resonator. Beautiful wood. I only sold it to Corey to buy one of the new Jerry Douglas Black Beards. Don't let this one get away from you.
