This is for anyone who wants to extend their Pedal Rods and legs, due to being too tall for their guitars.
If you are buying a new one get the standard size rods and legs..
Then if you wish, you can get extenders and spacers from Bobby Seymoure, Steel Guitar Nashville at very reasonable costs.
Then in case you want to sell it and the buyer wants standard legs and pedal rods, you just take the extenders off and use it on any new or used guitar you buy. Saves a lot of hassle and money.
Now , I need 7 pedal rods 24 and 1/2 inches long. And two front adjustable legs from 26 inches long , does not count the insert.
The Legs I have now are 28 inches long. The pedal rods I have now are 26 and 1/2 inches long.
If anyone wants to swap or sell, please let me know.OK? Thanks.....al

Tom Bradshaw sent 7 pedal rods to me and I thank him very much. I still need two front legs.
Does anyone know how to cut 2 inches off the main rod that has the insert and rethread it, or cut off the insert end and then pop the insert back in?
I could order two new ones from Bobby Seymour, but that would be $100. with shipping and I am trying to save a little money.

| Take a 1/2 inch rod and drive the old "Threaded Plug" out and cut off 2 inches, place a 1/2-13 nut on the "Plug" and drive it back in. Should take about 15 minutes. Ed Naylor Steel Guitar Worrks |

Ed-That sounds good. Maybe even I could do that.
What is the 1/2-13 nut, that goes on the threaded plug?

| You put a nut on the "Plug" and leave it so that you are not "Hitting" the threadas as you drive the Plug in place. You may try a little oil to help the plug slide in.Be careful and don't miss the plug and hit your hand. ED |
