Larry, what's the format like for your jams? Live band I gather (poor souls), each player get a verse and chorus, or what? Thanks.

John, it usually depends on the song, something like Deep water we'll usually do an A and a B part (one player does the verse the next does the chorus and so on and so forth) and on on others like Silver wings (Our big hit jam before last) each player does the verse and chorus then the next player starts it over from the top.

Larry always directs traffic before the beginning of the tune anyhow so it's easy to catch on Mr. Green ...Don't worry You'll have a ball!,

The best part is that every one of us pushes our envelope here, to the point that you can catch the old hotshots goofing a good run as well as the beginners, and everyone gets to really shine for a moment, so in a sense everyone is rendered equal regardless of pedigree Smile

Thanks, Josh and Dave, sounds just like what we do in L.A., I'll feel right at home, bad notes and all.

If every steeler I personally know in Wash/Ore would come I could sit 60. Just once before I die I would like to see it happen. Let's not wait until my memorial, I want to be a "live" part of the event. Get it.

It is not about how well you play the steel it is only about sharing time with others of like minds, for those that still have one that is.

Dom and Christopher I do this for you all, as long as there are smiles for miles and people keep coming back, let's pick some.

We had about 29 players picking and about 8-10 or so who came to listen along with other friends and neighbors. This may have been our biggest group ever. We kept the tempo's up so we could get around the circle faster.

We had 4 new faces, and some we have not seen for awhile. I think a good time was had by all.
