Recently I've been running a second instrument cable from the second hole of the inputs on front, and sending the signal to a Countryman Type 85 DI box, and then patching into the house PA. It seems to work fine, and eliminates the need to put a mic on the speaker.

But I'm wondering if I might be causing problems down the road with the amp or the DI or the PA. Would using the Booster output on the back of the amp to go to the DI be any better or different?

Any comments are welcome.

Paul try the pre-amp out to the DI. Works good and just has the signal from the front section.

Yeah Paul. Before I started carrying my own mic, I used a DI box and hooked it to the preamp out jack. Worked good.

I'd use the booster out, so that you have your EQ
