As always, really looking forward to this show. Lot's of good players, singers and friends. Not enough good things can be said for special guest Joe Wright. Masterful player, great entertainer and soon to be Hall of Famer. This will be a fun weekend.

Hate to hear that Bill Plemmons won't be with us. Mr Bill, let us know how your surgery went and how you're doing. See ya next time.

Surgery went well, working through a couple of post op issues which should clear up momentarily. It will take a lot of physical therapy to regain the strength that I've lost and will be a while before I can carry my push-pull. Best wishes for a super show and am looking forward to the Aug. show

A great day it was. Everyone picked "super" and there was a larger than average crowd that stayed all day.

We had a jam at the end with Joe Turner, Roger Crawford, Joe Wright, Steve Walker and myself. That was fun.

Thanks to a terrific staff band and to Jerry Reese, David Christmas & Joe Turner for making this show possible.

And thank you Roger Crawford for letting me play that new BLACK Emmons. It is definately a keeper.

Another great weekend at The Southern Steel Guitar Convention. If weren't there you really missed it. The saturday night jam was so much fun. The players were wonderful. Bob Strum, Joe Turner, Joe Wright, Tron Standridge and Bill Morgan. Sunday all the players were superb. And as always Joe Wright put on a great show. His wife Connie did a great job on vocals. Thanks to Terry Rogers on vocals and our MC. The staff band, great job guys. Wayne Smith on bass, Johnny Thomas on lead guitar, Danny Jones on keys and Jerry Reece on drums. Thanks to Roger Crawford for giving me a hand on drums. Thanks to all the steel players. Bob Strum, Steve Alonzo Walker, Ernest Tuttle, Roger Crawford, Bill Ferguson, Duane Regan, John Swain, Joe Wright and Joe Turner. Thanks to Wendell Gurley on vocals and Milt Mounce, great job guys. Hope to see you all again in August. Thanks Bill.

That was a GREAT show! All the steel players played so well and the staff band just played their back ends off-- Joe Wright, as the featured player, was fantastic, and the sweet and talented Connie Wright was the topping on the cake with her angel voice! So many friends were there to share our time Saturday night and Sunday. Thank you Jerry and Joe and all the nice folks at Belvedere for each and every thing you did to make things right for the show. Come on August-- :D
