GEORGE GUARD 112 knob guards.

Post by George Kimery »

Last batch at the old price of $15.00, inc. shipping, all sold. I have more made up not painted. Once they are painted they will be ready to ship. Due to increase in postage rates and material costs, the new price will have to be $20.00, inc. shipping. Still a great investment not to worry about breaking off those plastic shaft knobs.

I have a few of these left from the last run that are ready to ship. Notice how well the textured epoxy finish blends in with the amp. Hardly noticable. And, should you ever decide to remove it for any reason, there will not be any tell tale screw holes left in your amp. Easy 5 minute or less installation.

good product

Post by Nathan Guilford »

Not only was it easy to install, looks good, and works well, it also gives you an extra sturdy handle to grab when moving the amp. AND the D2F cover I have fits over it with no problem at all.

Great product. Got a NV112? Gotta have it!

Do you have them for the 400 Limited?
I really think that cutfront (to borrow and retool an Emmons term) was a boneheaded idea.
2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects

Lane, unfortunately, I do not have a 400 here to see if they will work or not. They will not work on a 1000 because the corners are different. I doubt that the 400 has a cut-out and corner's EXACTLY like the 112. If it does and I have the measurements of the center to center of the front holes on the corners, then I could make one for a 400.

Thanks for asking.

The 112 knobs have weak plastic posts and will snap right off with light force. After I broke a couple of knobs on my amp because it was packed too tightly in the band van, I got one of George's guards.

This is a wonderful, inexpensive solution. Installs in three minutes and provides hardcore protection. I've put it through its paces for a couple of years now and it's been great. If you own a 112 that you take into the trenches or transport shoved up against other gear, a guard is a must.

I just finished another batch of the knob guards for the 112 amps. Ready to ship immediately. Will be shipped USPS first class mail free of charge to the lower 48 states. PayPal $15.00 to my e-mail (PayPal) account: zumsteeld10@gmail.com If you don't do PayPal, let me know and we can go another route.

You really do need one of these for the 112 before you bump a knob and break it off or knock the amp over. That is going to cost you a bunch of $ to get fixed. Never have to worry about it again for $15.00. The guard really blends in and looks like it came factory installed.

I got mine several months ago and I'm quite happy with it. I was reluctant at first to "alter" my amp, in that I like things stock. But, this guard really looks like it was made on the amp. Blends perfectly and does it's job.
