Backrest for Pack-A-Seat
Does anyone know of a company making backrest kits for pack-a-seats? Several years ago I bought a GFI pack-a-seat (without a backrest), and my back is now asking me for some relief. Spending the $$$ for a new seat seems excessive if there is a kit that can be installed on mine. I have tried, unsuccessfully, to locate the manufacturer of the GFI seats (to see if they would just sell me the backrest and hardware). I am hoping that a forum member might know of a source.

Boat seat hinges are used by some seat vendors. I've built about a dozen seats using the boat seat hinges.
Here is the link to GFI. http://www.gfimusicalproducts.com/Pages ... 0Cases.htm
Joe Naylor, at http://steelseat.com/, may sell you the hinges or even make a kit for your seat.
