Mullen D-10 8x5 Lacquer Pre-RP **On hold**

This is a very clean, early Pre-RP Mullen D-10 w/ 8x5. Beautiful 2 tone lacquer finish has evenly faded into a nice mahogany looking color. Very few minor dings. Original Mullen single coils on both necks wound to 18k. All of the aluminum as well as the chrome endplates are in excellent condition. Basically an all original guitar w/exception of all new nylon tuners and aluminum spacers at the changers. It's been thoroughly gone through, cleaned up and lubed. It's ready to go out of the box. A very solid, well built beautiful sounding steel. Brand new strings on both necks.

For the E9 neck, Standard Emmons ABC setup on the pedals. E's on the left. RKL raising 1&2. RKR lowering 2&9. LKV lowers 6.

On the C6 side, its got some extra pulls. I'm no C6 player but, its been confirmed by Mullen that this guitar originally sold to Herby Wallace and that this is believed to have been his personal guitar for a while. From what I can tell, it has an a Emmons C6 setup just like this here http://www.buddyemmons.com/TTChart.htm with the added LKL and LKV. The LKL lowers 8 to G# and the LKV is lowering the high E(string 2) to Eb. 4 knee levers on the C6 neck.

Very nice indeed. I like the fretboards and I wish the manufacturer would consider those as an option again.

FYI...There appears to be a Cross-shaft installed for a center lever, easily making this guitar 8+6....
