Hi Paul, you mentioned that you use D'Addario strings.
would you mind telling me which set do you use ?
Stainless or Nickle?
love your playing , Its has been a while but i hope to see you in Australia again

Pretty sure he uses nickel.

Thanks Matt, but I guess what i'm trying to find out. Is Paul using an existing set? or does he order single strings and make up his own set. I"m in a position to buy D'Addario strings and it would be nice to know.

Good to hear that Mr Franklin and I have something in common. I also use d'Addario strings but it doesn't make me sound like him anyway. :?
I know my playing is a bit pitchy, but at least my tone sucks

D'Addario makes strings for a lot of string companies.

I use'em cause they're CHEAP, depending on where you buy'em. However the price went from 6to9bucks, in the last 2yrs. So, I just leave'em on longer. 3or4mons. and they're Purdy done. That's 8hrs. a weekend, plus pickin' at the house.
