I am posting my new build I am working on, first time at doing it, still working on it, have to put finish on it and do some adjustments to the legs and then powder coat the endplates, before I bolt everything down, this guitar will have 4 pedals and 5 knees, it has triple raise double lower changer, wood necks, the other guitar not posted is a aluminum neck same setup, with stainless polished endplates.

My first new build
It takes a Machinist with years of experience to build guitars like these, and I am not close enough to compete with them, maybe more years under my belt I might come close but I will never be near to them or equal to them, I am not satisfied with my own style yet, but I will keep trying.

Dustin, I learned a lot from builders like Richard Burton, Ben Rom, and Ed Fawlaka in Canada, also Pat Comeau, these guys really know how to build them, also Peter Sheids in Switzerland who is the Master Machinist on steel guitars, you can look at his guitars here on the net, that is who I want to model from, I would love to meet him and learn to build steel guitars like him, but I do not have the years in like he does.

I met to give the correct name to Peter Schild who is the Master of building pedal steels, I would love to buy one of his guitars, he is from Switzerland, he is the one I would love to try and learn from building these guitars.

Yep Crowbear, that is the beauty, love those schild steel guitars, I will never come close to one of those guitars, I would love to own one here n the States, but the cost of shipping it and taxes on it keeps me out of the reach of one of these fine instruments.
