No, as their MIDI System Exclusive messages are different, It will work between a Bassfex and Profex 2 (same units).

Nashville 112

Hi Ken - I have a similar question to Jack. How do you tell if a Nashville 112 already has your mod chips installed?

The only way I know is to open it up and look at the 5 small chips on the preamp (main board with he knobs).

I have been asked many times when Nashville 112 amps started having chips soldered in. There is no proof that that was ever more than an exception when we found a couple of amps with soldered in chips. Probably built on a day when they ran out of chip sockets, perhaps.

The best thing to do is to remove the chassis and check the front circuit board to see if the chips are in sockets.

Thanks

I was asked about Reno 400. The Nashville 400 kit works for it. They have the same board layout

To the issue of cross loading to save settings..,

I'm not familiar with the units you are talking about but...

There are several free PC based programs that will capture and save yours sysex file data and then load it back for you.

You could make a midi backup of your settings to the PC and then reload them that way..

Maybe, if the device supports that.

Worth a shot I'd say.

Just a thought.

Ken,

I need to get a batteryless mod & some Burr Brown chips for my Profex II.

Do I click on the "Battery-less Memory mod chip, includes shipping, US only" button and then the "2nd or more Burr Brown audio upgrade kit for Profex or Bassfex" button???

Thanks!!!

Hi Ken,
I want to order OPA2134 op amps for my 112. I've checked the amp and they are plugins. I'm doing this instead of changing out the Blue Marvel with an Eminence speaker. What's your take on that plan?

The blue marvel is a great speaker. Good plan here for sure

Hi Ken!

I want to buy a chip kit upgrade for my Session 500, but on your website it says "small. single chassis model only" for the 500'. I have a Session 500 MKIV, will the chip kit fit this amp?

Cheers

Hmm, I'm not sure, but my amp looks like it has the power amp as a removable piece. The amp in this picture has the same backpanel as mine, can you figure somethinh out of this?
