This is a pretty rare one - a JEM U12 from Australia. Only 3 (that I know of) built. Newman setup.
Originally a 7 x 4 - I play it as a 6 x 4.
25 years of constant work and still plays fine.

My two girlfriends
I dunno which one of these girls I love the most. Right now the Sierra has the edge and gets more compliments. It's heavy and the setup is a little more fussy but what great sound and playability. Sweet tone; I prefer the humbucker. The action is very nice; intonation is great. I've never broken a string. I had Jim Flynn build a new LKR for my E lowers. I made the LKL lever from aluminum extrusion stock. I had to get creative to add the third raise on string 4 as the guitar is a double raise/double lower mechanism. For a 38-yr old guitar, it's amazing. The Zum is a workhorse, also very reliable and much easier to move around and set up. It's a 1990. It has done most of the gigs but lately the Sierra has been seeing lots of action. I love 'em both.
