Hi, in April I will be in the US. I like to take a Moog lapsteel home with me if I'm able to find one.
Thanks
Joerg

According to the Moog website, they have been discontinued.
Call Steve at 828.251.0090 ext. 205 for special pricing & availability.

Brad, yes, I've talked to Steve Mars yesterday. They are only able to build one if they slaughter a E1 Moog guitar and take the electronics for a lapsteel. But he is positive that within the next year or two there will be new lapstels from Moog. He's already taking names of interested people.
Me, I'm trying to find me a used Moog lapsteel.
Best, Joerg

My guess is that there were very few sold. The only person I know of who owns/owned one is Billy Cardine.
You might try contacting him to see if he knows of any available. Good luck on your search!
