FS or Trade '68 Dual Showman Reverb Amp
I recently purchased this but I have since realized that I'd rather have a combo amp. I would like to sell it or will consider a trade or trade/$$ for a 1x12 (preferred) or 1x15 combo amp......85 watt minimum ALL-Tube design....for SS or Hybrid it depends ( Will consider Mesa Boogie, Fender, Music Man, Webb, Evans, Randall)
I want to experiment so I'm open to consider options.....
If you're interested in a possible purchase or trade please send a PM.
Thanks,
Marty B.

I agree Kenny. I wish it was a single channel unit; I would look into getting a 1x12 cabinet and inserting the chassis and a speaker into it. It would then have a similar footprint to my NV112.

Fyd amps can build you something like that for a reasonable price.

IMHO. I would consider having a cabinet built to house the chassis and a speaker of your choice. Rick Johnson here in the Forum or any number of builders could do it at a reasonable price. Those old Fenders are just tooooo nice to trade off. TUBES!

Chris,
The Music Man is REAL tempting but I want to get at least 85 watts. I was told that is what it takes to keep things clean with PSG and I'd like to keep it down to a single channel/some. I've been watching some 100w Music Mans just in case I sell this one outright. Thanks for posting!

Don I just realized that I didn't answer your question.
I don't play any other instruments anymore. In the few occasions that I play a real dobro I mic it. Moreover, I've been using Boss pedals so I don't need effects in the amp. I've come to like the footprint of a 1x12(preferred) or 1x15 combo. If there was a combo like that where the channels were stacked over each other I'm sure I could utilize both channels.(one for E9th for C6th...??)
Also, I've played SS amps for the past 30 years so now I'm experimenting with tubes.
Just having some fun.....
Best Regards

Thanks Joe,
I had a Randall RG300 (orange stripe) when they first came out and I liked it. They were FET design, I think, so I'm open.....
Thanks again for the heads up!!

Marty I've got a '95 - '96 Fender Vibrasonic, all tube except rectifier, http://ampwares.com/amplifiers/fender-c ... ibrasonic/
It's a PCB design but solid as a rock, 1X15" design. It's a 2 channel design like the Showman but channels are voiced specifically for Guitar on CH 1 and Steel on CH2 (they're actually labeled that way). It's in good condition, gigged occasionally. I've got a Steel King so I don't use this much anymore. Let me know if you're interested and I'll send pics.
