did i forget to mention that vince is my favorite singer, songwriter, guitarist, ambassador and spokesperson in nashville and possibly the world?

and who would argue that paul is the absolute top dog in the steel guitar scene and has been , deservedly so, for over the past decade?

when these guys play and sing, i listen.

has anybody else noticed that when vince gets soft, everybody shuts up and listens. same with alison krauss...they don't need to shout or dance to get attention.

I just saw it. Great performance by Paul. Were they really playing in Db? I'd fall off my chair if the bandleader called "Together Again in D Flat".

The bass line was as tasty as I've ever heard in a country ballad. Perfect tone. When I saw their road show in Santa Rosa, the bass was sort of muffled. Different player. (Now that I'm playing bass in a band, I notice it a lot more than I used to.)

Were they really playing in Db?
Yes. Every cut I've heard via the net was in C# or Dd.

A great key for that tune. But I like playing in #'s or flat's.

I know Buck and the Buckeroos tuned a half tone flat.

Can someone post the videoclip of Vince and Paul at The Tonight Show because in The Netherlands you get the text: this clip isn't available in your country.
Thanks in advance

Every time I listen and watch this performance, it just seems better than the last time. IMO, Paul is just perfect when he plays and Vince is, IMO, one of the best singers ever.

All I can say is Bravo! Paul and Vince, couldn't happen to two nicer guys.

Gonna be sad to see Jay leave like it was with Johnny, but I hear Jay may be back somewhere else in the future.

I think it was really a great performance and really a plus for our kind of music and the steel guitar on a show as watched as the Tonight show. I wonder any young musicians watched that and said, wow, I got to get me one of them.
