Old pedal or console steel for project - might trade dobro.

I would like to build an 8 string C6 console steel. I would be interested in something to use for the body of this...could be most anything like an old maverick carcass, most any older student model or something outdated or missing parts, etc. Only real requirement is that it be cheap. Doesn't much matter to me if it has electronics, bridge, etc. as I will probably replace these for string spacing anyway. Tuners would be nice. Finish is not important as I would be willing to take it down and refinish the wood if necessary. Let me know what you have...I have a Rondo Dobro I might be interesting in trading. It is the square neck and is about a year old.

hi...im ken becker from Titusville florida..I may have just what just what you need....its msa sidekick. 3 pedals no knee...was planning to replace the one it had and add another,,,rebuilt the changer but needed a lot of work...it still needs work but its looks like its just what you are looking for and willing to take your dobro in trade....call me if you are interested 321-267-3443and ill fill you in about it...it has a case..4 legs ...3 pedals & rods..ill send some pictures...I bought a ZB custom and gave up working on it...please let me know if interested...thanks ken
