Auction Progress

Post by Robin Venters »

Hey Ya'll. I've heard from a couple of you folks this last week, and appreciate the input etc. One fellow ask me to look at the wood just behind the changers..the narrow lacquered piece just on the extreme right as the player sits, for crack(s). And there are two quite small cracks there in what he told me was the typical place for them to happen.

Now as to the Dutch auction. The reason I'm skipping Sunday's is that we are closed that day. This offer is for whoever calls with their CC on what day.
Today 12/10 $3,600.00 buys it shipped to the lower 48 fully insured. Tomorrow 3575.00 gets it etc. Saturday December 14th? $3,500.00

I want to assure any of you all that I will offer a 7 day return if you just hate it, but you would have to eat the freight back to us, and out to you. Point is I don't want anyone to own this that isn't happy with it, and Us!

Oh No Mr. Elliott, You could never be forgotten. I saw you on tour back in the summer time of the mid 70's. I don't remember the green Emmon's, I thought it was a Sho-Bud Super Pro. I do remember the Two Sho-Bud Christmas Tree Amps, I was just blowned away. It was the most awesome sound I have ever heard. Of course I was only their to see Miss Sealy in her Orange Jump Suit. I still have the picture. J.R.

Just got through listening to some Clinton Gregory, and who just happened to be playing on one of the songs? A guy named Ron Elliott playing a Mullen.

Here it is:

That's a great looking guitar!
I have Serial number 2567. Same green burst color from the factory, D10, 8/6, but mine has aluminum necks. These are fantastic guitars!
Good luck to new owner!
Merry Christmas !!!

I've had a couple questions about who I made a deal with, and who bought it, but as a retailer, I don't feel like that's my place to say. I think the fellow who did call me at my shop and make a deal with me is somewhat of a regular on here, but that's up to him to say. I sure do not mind if he posts who he is and what he paid.

I'll tell you that I called him yesterday (Tuesday) and the guitar had arrived Monday, and Fed Ex got it there in good shape, and he has had a chance to look it over and he is quite pleased. I am too, and thank you all again for being here, and helping me bring a nice instrument to a new home.....beats work you know to purvey this stuff. :) PS I did get a Session 500 too which is 8 of 10 condition wise, and does have leg controller but it's clip is broken. Newer BW basket from 3 or 4 years ago.. $350.00 OBO + shipping....but I don't want to ship it...come to OKC....
