A suggestion - although the id clips are way easier to see than the built-in numbering, on a really dim stage they still are difficult....if the clips were different widths, i.e., twice as wide for pedal 2 and 3x for pedal 3 - then you wouldn't have to read anything to know where they go....

I do this now with tape strips, but a nice plastic clip would work better..

And yes, it wouldn't work for more than about 4 pedals...too wide, and not enough difference between the widths for the high numbered pedals....

I'm thinking of just buying 1 number 1, 2 number 2s, 3 number 3s, etc. but it would be a lot nicer to have them actually made that way....

Steve; thanks for the feed back, however this seems to be working and if they are not a uniform size, might as well use tape. these are nice and small clips with numbers that are big enough to see without being noticed far away. thank you for your thoughts ;-) It's good to have feedback and fresh thoughts.

Dave is top shelf to deal with. I just ordered two sets for two steel buddies for a little gift exchange .. Perfect gift for a fellow steel player and you know they will be appreciated .
I wouldn't own a pedal rod without one on it. They just make so much sense and no messy tape to look at or marks on the rods? They tuck right at the clip and hide behind the pedal board.....
Thanks again Dave and Merry Christmas.
