Simmons Pedal Steel

Post by Paul King »

I have a friend who bought a Simmons single 10 with 3&4. The steel guitar is in excellent condition and has never been out of the house. It might have two or three hours playing time on it. Dale says he will never learn to play and wants to sell the guitar. He paid right at $1200.00 and would like to get right at $1000.00. It comes with a wooden case as well. The color is gray like Bob Simmons has on his website. I personally have played this guitar and it plays and sounds good. Anyone interested can respond on the forum here or by email and I will put you in touch with Dale.

That is it. I saw in on Craigslist here. If Paul King says it is good, I would buy it even without seeing it, that is if I had the money. Got mine tied up in my SKH right now.

I failed to mention the steel has a padded armrest. It is not the guitar on Craigslist. Dale takes very good care of his musical equiptment so the steel is in tip top condition.

I'm a long time Semi Pro player when I needed a cheap steel I bought a Simmons this is a Genesis, they have a George L's pick up 4knees 3 flrs. it is a pull release.
Copedant is A-5&10+ B-3&6+ C-4&5+
E's on left knee, Rl raises 1+7 RR lowers 2nd.
Mine stayed in tune sounded good better than a lot of pro steels I played certainly better than any Sho Bud I EVER owned...knee lever never fell of the Simmons:) I think they are fantastic for the money. Any new players this is a great deal to get started.
