You may want to look in the New Products section if you are interested in a reasonably priced volume pedal.

I like the chrome beast ,too. I had Morley at first, left over from my six string days, and then I tried the Fender and that was pretty much it. Of course I had to try a few other things along the way. Somebody loaned my a nice Hilton for a couple weeks, and it was great, but I went back to the Fender.

I have a couple of Goodrich H10K's, that's all I've used for about the last 20 years.

MSA Millennium, Legend, and Studio Pro, Reese's restored Universal Direction guitar, as well as some older MSAs, several amps, new and old, and a Kemper Powerhead that I am really liking. Recently added a Zum D10, a Mullen RP, and a restored blue Rose, named the "Blue Bird" to the herd. Also, I have acquired and restored the plexiglass D10 MSA Classic again that was built as a demo in the early '70s. I also added a '74 lacquer P/P, with wood necks.

I use a Hilton low profile. Its noiseless, and I need to power my pedalboard with an iSpot anyway, so one more adapter is not a big deal.

I have been using a Mission VM-1. Simple pot pedal that sounds and works fine. Solid and reliable. http://missionengineering.com/?product=the-vm-1

That looks pretty good. Hand wired, point-point..., price is right, too. If anyone prefers pot pedals, this seem to be sturdy enough for steel work.

Low-profile HILTON. And I keep a Goodrich in the gig bag in case I break something.

I use a Sho-Bud volume pedal. I don't want to plug in and have more wires laying around. Maybe someday I'll have to make a switch, but hopefully by then they have a Telonics on batteries or a rechargeable Telonics.
