Leo, thanks for posting this. I knew Maxine very well in the old days and thought a lot of her as she was a nice lady and always supported Cliff the best she could. We had some nice conversations in the kitchen at the old Foothill Club in Signal Hill....RIP Maxine.......JH in Va.

Leo, What was the cause of death? At break times we spent a lot of times with her.

Hey Skeeter & Leo, Maxine was a great gal for sure. One of my favorite memories of her was one night at break time she asked me if I'd seen Cliff and I said "He's out back in the patio area with some old gal makin' out".... I was just kidding but she went out there and came right back in with her face as white as a sheet and said to me "He is, he is out there with her!".... I said "Damn Max, I was just kidding" so I went out there and it was some other guy so I came back in and told her that it was someone else. She said "Are you sure?" and about that time Cliff walked up from another direction and she was relieved. I was sorry I'd said that to her but I'm glad it wasn't true...RIP Maxine Crofford....JH in Va.

Here a little letter that Cliff wrote to his Maxine before he died. Called " My MAxine ". In her time there were wonders to behold but none as wonderful as she. In her time, she had more than her share of sorrows my Maxine made the most of life's journey. Now she's gone and angels are rejoicing.A mother's love is like no other kind she lives on in her grand children's laughter.Thank heavens she was mine,in her time. By Clifton Crofford. In Loving Memory Eula Maxine Crofford, November 5,1929 to November 25,2013.RIP! Love you both your true friend forever Leo J.Eiffert,Jr.& Family.
