Webb 6-14E Amp: F/S...-SOLD- donation to forum, thanks.

Post by John Hanusch »

Beautiful burgundy, in very good condition, with remote reverb control, JBL K-140, 8 ohm speaker. Everything works like it's suppose to. No noisy pots or such. Serial # 956 and the chassis is dated March 5, 1979.
The front left cabinet edging has some minor scuffing as can be seen as some whitish shades in the full front view. The metal corners have their obligatory dullish nickel patina. Other than that- all good.
Price is $950. and I can deliver to the South-Western Steel Guitar Association Convention in Phoenix, Jan. 16, 17, & 18, 2014. Otherwise, plus shipping - U.S. Thank you, John Hanusch (520)310-6117
p.s.- also see "Fender S/F Twin Reverbs... for sale. p.s.2 - thanks for inquires, but no trades - have too much stuff, already...

Mine #749 (1978) shipped with the same speaker, 8 ohm, although mine is the E-130. Still sounds great As I had Ken Fox do the mod a few years back!

My Webb looks identical to that one and it has the K -130-4 4 ohms

It once belonged to Ralph Mooney. I like it a lot.

...resisted long enough, so for a self-indulgent bump - This amp has a sticker on back: "Stan's Guitar Shop - Glendora, Calif." - hey, maybe Mr. Mooney had some interaction with this one?

Great example of a Webb and worth every cent. I recently installed the new light weight Eminence speaker in mine. It's the bomb!

Thanks for the comments, fellas - & I'm sure the tentative new owner appreciates them, also. A deal is fairly firm & I hope to confirm in a couple days. Thanks, John H.
