Is that an Asher steel?

I guess I need at least five six string lap steels for roots music.

E tuning
D tuning
G tuning
A tuning
C6 tuning

Well, the D and E tunings, and the G and A tunings, can be accomplished with the same string gauges (depending on which variation of those tunings you're using). The C6th tuning would be the only one requiring a separate set of strings (and thus a separate guitar).
However, you probably should get separate guitars for each tuning so that you don't have to bother retuning between songs. :)

David, I think it's a Scantic River, maple top and Lollar pickups.

Yes Quebec is on the East Coast of Canada. Never heard about la fete de Marquette!

I'd never heard of it either, but it had an impressive lineup in 2013.
